Sebastian "Seabass" Stone

Music is the only thing that exists to me, and to you whether you realize it or not... and that's not opinion,  its scientific fact. The word universe literally means one verse, and we are all vibrations moving faster than the speed of light that has been trapped in a state of human consciousness. All facts... So it is my mission to radiate noise throughout this plane of existence as loudly and passionately as I possibly can. No compromises, no regard for myself.

I started playing at the age of 12, although I've been trying to figure out how to sing since I heard "Behind Blue Eyes" by The Who at age 8. Call it a soul song if you will.

I'm from Portland OR, new age destination of the American dream and the suburban nightmare. I always say that when someone from the Northwest makes a song you can hear the rain soaked up in the notes. There's only 3 months of sun a year up there, and the rest of the time you're wet and cold. Gives you a lot of time to sit and learn how to play your favorite albums note for note. That is how I learned. I cant tell you sheet music for shit, but if I hear something I can play it. I can play Dirt, Dark Side, American Idiot and the first 4 Zeppelin albums start to finish. Those are just in standard tuning.

I came to Nashville because I was being sucked into the Portland scene too much. Working a job I hated just to get money to see shows and never playing them. I had to get out, and get away from everything. My first car exploded on the way here with a band I was playing drums with. So we bought a van and just kept going. After a few failed attempts with a few failures I started to realize that I had to just pursue my vision, for the noise I wanted to contribute to our society, our next generation, myself and even our universe. I started recording songs that people that felt alone would help me write.

Originally I suppose I was just being lazy about lyrics. But when a friend confessed he was a junkie who had lost any hope of ever seeing his daughter again, and he started humming through his tears, a melody I turned into "Snowflake Teardrops" on the Keeping it Quiet EP, I realized that I had more of a purpose to fulfill. Now I put stories of real life in real music for real people. Seems like a crazy idea but it worked great for Pink Floyd. They are my second favorite band. Nowadays I listen to a lot of underground music. People that are passionate regardless of the paycheck. However I will never stop loving Tool, Modest Mouse & Manchester Orchestra.

Side note. If I could eat sandwiches and sushi for the rest of my life, I would do so and die smiling and large.

Joaquin "WAKA" Rosales

Born and Raised in The Coachella Valley (Indio), CA. Grew up watching my Grandfather play guitar and my father playing drums.  Got my first drumset for Christmas in 6th grade (2004) at 12 yrs old. From 6th grade till college, I focused a lot on concert band and marching band. I had been in a few bands in between that time and went to Musicians Institute (MI) in Hollywood in 2013 but dropped out.

After New Years 2014, I was called to record an album with a student from MI, in Nashville. So with two weeks notice, I left. In the two months of being in Nashville and living out of our van, the band quit and left me homeless..the funny thing u should know is, when I got the job Feb 5th at Quiznos in downtown Nashville, my friend and bandmate had been working there already.  The guitarist Sebastian, had just quit that week to take another job which helped me land the position I'd applied for. How ironic. Key note, I met Sebastian through that friend and he helped get me out of my van when it finally happend.  We met up and everything instantly clicked!

From that moment on, after not knowing one another at all, not knowing a real thing about the persons, all comin from different life. The music brought us together and made a true bond that can never be broken. We had our first house show in June 2014.

Chaz McKinney

My name is Chaz McKinney & I’m a 20 year old creator living in fabulous Nashville, TN. I split my time between playing bass in Safe Secrets, producing & engineering for other artists, working as a pop songwriter, and writing/producing as Spazz Cardigan as well.

I’ve been entrenched in the music industry since I began first playing shows at 10 around the Louisville, KY area; I spent my early teenage years playing in a barrage of punk bands before starting to make nightly drives to Nashville through high school. Generally through what I like to think of as a mix of universal synchronicity & a detached view of human nature, I was able to meet a lot of wonderful people through the years and refine my craft under the tutelage of Grammy-winning producers and songwriters. I studied and created every day, soaking in as much theory and technique as I could and as many different methodologies to find my own style of programming and playing.

I eschewed college after high school to pursue music full time and, thus far, I don’t regret it at all. I’ve been able to work with a myriad of different songwriters, musicians, and producers all in a very short time in my life and I take none of it for granted. I’ve seen a million walks of life, heard a million stories and been part of a million more that I process through the language of music. I create anything I can with anyone I can and let it influence the journey.

Outside of my life in music I’m also an avid cinema buff, an occasional artist, a deep reader, a Buddhist, a space & physics geek, and a socio-political observer. I love philosophy, the experimental, the unknown.
